Accessibility Statement
manabiQ is committed to making our platform usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and screen magnification. Accessibility is not a one-time checkbox for us — we treat it as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the product.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we are progressively adopting the additional Level AA criteria introduced in WCAG 2.2. This applies not only to our marketing pages but to the screens people actually use — sign-up, billing and payment, uploading your documents, and the learner experience.
What we have done
- Text and interface colours are checked for sufficient contrast in both light and dark modes.
- The site can be operated with a keyboard alone, including a "skip to main content" link and visible focus indicators.
- Form fields have labels, required fields and errors are announced to screen readers, and status is never conveyed by colour alone.
- Images and icons have text alternatives, and icon-only buttons have accessible names.
- The learner experience works on a phone in the browser with no app to install, and course text serves as a text alternative to the spoken (text-to-speech) audio.
Known limitations
Some third-party components — for example the Google Drive and OneDrive file pickers and the payment card form provided by our payment processor — are rendered by external providers, so their accessibility is partly outside our control. Where a step depends on such a component, an alternative path is available (for example, uploading a file directly, or contacting us for help). If you hit a barrier, please tell us and we will help you complete the task and prioritise a fix.
Compatibility
manabiQ is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox) on desktop and mobile, together with the assistive technologies built into those platforms.
